Can anyone give me some easy guitar chords?

I'm learning the guitar so I'm looking for some songs that only really contain three chords. I've just mastered "Achy Breaky Heart" which only has A and E. I now need some other popular songs that contain one other chord. Then, once I've mastered that, I'll move on to one with four chords. Any suggestions?

A and E are not the easiest chords to start with. Learn C, F and G7 and there are loads of songs you can play with them.

i just purchaced a guitar kit, very nice its made by Orange from England. Anyway i have been trying to learn chords from a book, and i would like any helpful tips on progression, i really want to get good

Pick a song, any song you like, and find a tab for that song with the chords. If you get frustrated with finding accurate tabs for the songs you want (because i totally do) then buy a guitar book of a band you like or that has some songs you like. Then just play,play,play,play! You'll be surprised that most songs only use a few chords and sometimes are very basic. Not only will you be learning music you like but playing these will help you with forming chords and switching between chords quickly. Pretty soon it will all come naturally to you with enough practice
