The Piano VS. The Guitar? And Piano lessons?

No this is not a battle for popularity or which is better but rather which one is the most difficult to learn? I am going to take lessons for piano next week and I'm teaching myself guitar. So who here plays both and which is the most challenging?

I know how to play both guitar and piano. From my personal experience, I found piano much difficult to play. You have lots of technical stuffs to learn before you could actually play. If I were to choose which one is challenging, it would be piano. You have to concentrate on reading numerous notes while moving your fingers (and in some cases, with your feet) to play the right key. In guitar, as you may have experienced, is the most easiest instrument you'll play. Due to the fact that you can learn it by yourself and by watching someone else play it or by reading a tutorial book. All you have to do is to learn few chords and how to place your fingers to the fret then to strum.

I see you don't have any idea what will happen to your first piano lesson. Well don't stress out on it, they'll just teach you the basics like parts of the staff, reading notes, tempo, time signatures and etc.. The second lesson will probably be the sitting posture and few notes playing.

About performing in front of people, you don't have pay attention to them especially if they don't know a thing about playing those instruments. In my experience, you're best audience will be those experienced musicians because they can give you few tips and tricks and I bet that you can learn a lot from playing in front of those people than by yourself. Audiences are big part of playing music, they will boost your skills and your confidence and they can tell you your mistake. Without audience, there is no point on learning how play those instruments.

Guitar Hero 3 for PC video card issues?

I bought Guitar Hero 3 for PC today with the standard Xplorer controller, but when I played a song I noticed the speed of the notes coming at you would jump and skip, making it fairly hard to play. I turned down all the graphic settings to their lowest, but still no improvement.

Just bought guitar hero three for PS2 and the controller doesn't work?

Just got guitar hero three. Set it all up, put the batteries in the controller and got out our guitar hero two controller so we could play with two guitars. The old one works fine but the new one is not being picked up by the game. The red light flashes on the wireless plug into the playstation and the red light flashes on the guitar. Already tried reinserting the neck. Any idea whats up with it.
